Lamps complying to highest IP-rates withhold heat, shortening LEDs’ lifetime. When designing such lamps, an effective heat management is the number 1 priority. Usually the solutions are provided by heat sinks, thermal tapes, aluminum supports: components that require space and result in complex construction which prevents a slim design.

Simple and smart GI PLAST has found a solution: HEAT CONTROL.

A profile with integrated heat sink: thanks to a special Polycarbonate, heat is transferred 10 times faster than by any other plastic, reducing the further need for components to manage heat.

The profile has a 10 time greater thermal conductivity and doubles LEDs’ lifetime improving efficiency.

More thermal conductivity, less components, minimal design: LED-light becomes more efficient and longer lasting.
